When there is a significant tear in a muscle, tendon or ligament there are a few options. In such instances a chiropractor would refer you out to another physician. Surgery has been there for extensive injuries, but for some, other options are available. There's prolotherapy and PRP therapy. PRP is Platelet Rich Plasma therapy.
